Granisle Lions Club:
Located at the Lion’s Den, #31 Chapman
Club meets every 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Newcomers welcome!
The Lions’ International is the worlds largest service club. Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month commencing at 7:00 PM. Meetings are located at # 31 Chapman Street. New members are always welcome!
We provide the Lifeline Services and Helping Hands. We lend medical equipment for those in need.
Presently, we have these items available:
- 1 Hospital bed
- 2 commodes
- 1 Toilet riser
- 1 walker (no wheels)
- 2 metal crutches
We collect eye glasses and hearing aids to assist in supporting BC Kids Camp.
Fundraising is done by providing Ice and Sand bags throughout the year, as well as distributing Christmas hampers. Periodically, we hold Community raffle.
As a club, we maintain “Lions Beach” RV Campground. It is equipped with RV sites (with/without power), a playground and docking facilities.
We organize the Dog Walk annually and we support our club by recycling bottles, cans, and batteries up to nine (9) Volts.

Granisle Seniors Association: 50+
Located at 19 Chapman Street, the Granisle & District Seniors Society Hall is the meeting place for local seniors.
Activities the Seniors have hosted include Line Dancing, Games Days, Water & Acrylic painting, Hwy 16 Carpet Bowling Championships, Bazaars, Easter Pancake Brunch, Mother’s Day Strawberry Tea, Annual Egg Drop, Remembrance Day Celebrations, Christmas Dinner, New Years Eve Early Appy Party and more.The Society is always open to and welcomes suggestions for other activities.
Membership is offered to anyone 50 years of age and over. Fee is $15 per year. Meetings every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 1:00 pm. Newcomers welcome!
