COMMUNITY PARAMEDICINE

Community Paramedics provide primary care services to increase access to basic health care services in non-urgent settings, in patients’ homes or the community. Intended primarily for patients 65 years and older living with chronic conditions such as heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and diabetes, or at risk of falls. EMERGENCY SUPPORT SERVICES

Emergency Support Services (ESS) provides short-term assistance to British Columbians who are forced to leave their homes because of fire, floods, earthquakes or other emergencies. This assistance includes food, lodging, clothing, emotional support and family reunification. Find out more here.
