Better at Home is a government funded program that provides support services to seniors so they may live independently in their own homes. By providing assistance with non-medical home support, we help seniors maintain their independence and stay connected to the community.
Better at Home is funded by the B.C. Ministry of Health and managed by the United Way of the Lower Mainland. Seniors who receive services may pay a fee based on their income. To eliminate a financial barrier to use the service, fees are determined on an individual basis using a sliding subsidy scale.
