Water Treatment Facility

On July 31st members from the Village of Granisle council and staff along with representatives from Progressive Ventures from Terrace and WSP from Smithers participated in a ground breaking ceremony to commence work on our new Water Treatment facility.

Progressive Ventures won the successful bid to build the new facility and will work closely with WSP (formerly Opus) as the engineers for the project.

The Village of Granisle was extremely excited to receive word this past spring with the success of our grant application in the amount of $5,067,300 to replace this aging infrastructure. We look forward to project completion in early summer of 2019 and an infrastructure legacy for decades to come.
